Emerging technologies to prolong our life span are already influencing medical therapy: Tissue engineering, gene and cell therapy, and other types of regenerative medicine are thriving and promising areas of research. But can these approaches overcome the process of aging itself? And if yes, how do we live in a world full of people who do not age?

Join us on our 10th journey through the Rabbit Hole! We will hear about technologies to prolong our life span, we will dive into a world where people can embark life for more than 199 years, and we will discuss whether aging can and should be cured.

The white rabbit of the evening: Marco Daniel Kokic is a physicist pursuing his doctoral studies at ETH Zurich’s Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering. He runs computer simulations to test hypotheses on the mechanisms underlying the growth and form of tissues and organs.
